regularly open psychotherapeutic training - training for work with people
Annotation of training:
Complex training in psychotherapy, accredited by Czech Psychotherapeutic Association of Czech Medical Association.
Training is intended for professionals at work with people, students of these subject areas, humanitarian workers, workers of non-profit organizations etc.
Range of training:
- Practical training: 500 hours of training based on experience (in 5 years)
- Theory: 200 hours
- Supervision: 100 hours (after practical training is finished )
Altogether: 800 hours
Self-experience part of training is always in two seven days workshops- each workshop has 50 hours- during school year ( that means 100 hours per year).
Training takes place under closed conditions in Psychoanalytical clinic in Opocno. Part of complex training is theoretical education in psychoanalysis and supervision. Theoretical training will take place in Psychoanalytical clinic and will be divided into blocks. Lecturers are educated and experienced in psychoanalysis and psychoanalytical psychotherapy.
CONTENTS:
Training is drawn up as preparation for caring professions:
Social work, psychotherapy, pastoral care, consultancy, nursing, humanitarian / non-profit organization and so on. Training course is acknowledged like further education in the field of social care for required accreditation of welfare facilities.
Practical training in group and even theoretical training is led by psychologists. It can be used by social workers in the field of social care and in church facilities, by workers in health service, care persons, pedagogues and further professions in the field of social and health care. It can even be helpful for pastors, philosophers, andragogs and other professions working with people.
Training takes place in closed group according to the rules of community. It has many years long tradition.
Abilities and skills for work with people you can learn during training:
- How to carry out and develop work with people so that it is beneficial for the client and that it brings satisfaction to the carer
- Problems with authority towards clients, awareness of your role and your personal dispositions in caring
- How to solve difficult situations at work, technique of solving conflicts by negotiation
- Get to know yourself, your potential and even your barriers in communication in dealing with the others.
- To change yourself so that you improve your abilities to work in caring professions
- Training teaches you how to discover, understand and correct your mistakes in your attitudes or behaviour towards the others.
- It practices more efficient conduct and helps you to master social skills like the ability to establish and maintain contact, to communicate effectively, to express your feelings to the others, to really hear the others, to accept justified criticism and to have insight into interpersonal relationships, to solve conflicts, restore communication and negotiate.
- Successful trainee will acquire skills in psychotherapeutic theory and practice.
Psychological methods and techniques, which the participants of five years training will go through:
self-reflection, psychodrama, video training, non-verbal communication, group supervision, conflict management (how to solve problematical situation on workplace), balint group etc.
Orientation:
psychodynamic (contemporary psychoanalysis, further related orientations like existential psychotherapy or daseinsanalysis etc.)
Where can be the training used:
Wherever you work with people – psychotherapeutic practice, consultancy, in leadership, in houses for seniors, shelters for homeless, in Charity, in pastoral care, in other facilities of social, health and school work. Training is suitable for workers in caring professions who need to acquire or enlarge their education for work with people and even for the experienced who feel threatened by stress, tiredness or burn-out syndrome.
Social care workers make majority of our participants.
